Barbell Calf Raises

  • Setup: Place barbell on traps, stand with toes on a raised surface (like a block).
  • Form: Keep chest up, core tight, and knees slightly bent.
  • Raise: Push through the balls of your feet, lifting your heels as high as possible.
  • Lower: Slowly lower heels back down, stretching the calves at the bottom.
  • Avoid: Bouncing, locking knees, or using too much weight.
